Future Project

As a resident of the southside of Milwaukee, I would like to change the lack of information that is prevalent, so that future generations can find themselves and have the opportunities that I did not have.

 

Creating displays that showcase events and growth opportunities, including food pantries, clothes donations, work opportunities, and providing guidance on reaching these resources will be the guidance for positive progression. By putting our interest and motivation this will allow our team to advance the technology in the south side, so the community is not left behind in opportunities. To do this would be making displays that other communities use to display their events and opportunities for people to grow, from food pantries, clothes donations, work opportunities and as well address on how to get there.

Along with this, assuming if that the pieces of technology would get robbed, a tracker would be added in hopes of notifying police about it. Furthermore, I wish to add trackers not with the intention of punishing those who take them, yet once caught, such action can redirect them to organizations that would help them with their decision-making.

The violence that occurs causes generations to lose guidance, opportunities, and help. Since they are missing the access to information, they are trying to do anything they can in order to live, even if it is wrong, even if the morals are diluted. I know that with this change, there will be obstacles from having to get a permit to be able to place these displays in the neighborhoods and cities. There will be challenges to connecting these to organizations and not having faulty connections. Persuading authority to cooperate and not send thieves to jail, and instead, walk them towards the right direction will take convincing and connecting.

This can become a method to redirect impoverished individuals to the recreational support needed to better their lives instead of imprisoning them from achieving change.
